Hi,
I am currently designing with an EP4CE30F23I8LN device, however the core voltage specified on the data sheet (1.2v) seems to differ from the closest FPGA (EP4CE30F23I8L) that I can find in Quartus II web edition v11. The only difference between these packages (as far as I can tell and apart from the core voltage difference) is the N standing for lead free devices. Have I missed something here? Regards JamesLink Copied

AFAIK the low power Cyclone IV devices (ending with L or LN) use a 1.0v core voltage instead of 1.2V.
You are right that the only difference with the extra N is that it is a lead-free device.- Mark as New

--- Quote Start --- AFAIK the low power Cyclone IV devices (ending with L or LN) use a 1.0v core voltage instead of 1.2V. --- Quote End --- Yes, and of course you'll find the 1.0 V core voltage specification for "L" devices in the datasheet as well.
