I borrowed arria 10 gx1150 FPGA from a lecturer for my final year project. The Quartus version required for this FPGA is either the standard or pro. I want to know how do I get the software to work with it as I do not have the funding to purchase a license myself. Is there any license available for the newly purchased FPGA or is evaluation license the only option I have?

Evaluation is your only option if you can't purchase a license. Maybe the person you borrowed it from has a license you can borrow from them and change the MAC ID to your computer so you can use it.

Noted with thanks. The person I borrowed from used it to train AI model so he didn't have the license. Your response is much appreciated.
