Hi,
Extremely simple problem I am having. I'm trying to set ModelSim up - I know that I have to specify the path for the .exe, but cannot find where I am supposed to specify the path. I've checked everywhere online, but people seem to be able to find the menu. I've attached screenshots of the menus I thought I would have found this option in. I expect to find EDA Tool Options in Tools -> Options (under the general category, but it isn't there...). I also checked Assignments -> Settings -> EDA Tool Settings, but there is no 'specify path' options there. What am I missing here? Thanks for your time with what is surely a trivial issue. ap29Link Copied

How are customers supposed to simulate all the pertebations of Altera IP and sub macros, etc without the scripting help of Nativlink? What am I missing? How are you supposed to get a good .vcd file for power estimation?
Pro is supposed to be the flagship software package, is it not? How are they deprecating basic longstanding features out of their flagship software?
