Write a service request. It is very unlikely that somebody in this forum has internal knowledge about Alteras source code.

try deleting the db and incremental_db directories and re-compile.
If it still crashes, file a service request.- Mark as New

Are you willing to submit your design to Altera?

Thank you for the replies. Deleting the db and incremental_db directories didn't take any effect. The Service Request to Altera has been sent. I continue to wait in anguish and incomprehension.

Hi Ignat. If you want a quicker resolution, please send the archived design to cauduong@altera.com. To archive the design, have the project opened in Quartus II and then select Project -> Archive Project. The output file would be a <project_name>.qar file. Thanks, Cam
