Hello, We recently purchased the latest version of Quartus and we have a few questions:

  1. Are the design security features available for v12.1 Quartus?
  2. Do we have to enable backward compatibility (How do we know which features will not work for earlier versions e.g. v12.1?)
  3. We need to understand if the encryption tool is enabled and if not, what do we need to do to ensure that it gets enable?

Quartus v12.1 is not downloadable anymore and we do not support this version anymore.

Please download the latest supported Quartus version in the link below, by filtering the version based on the device you used on the left panel.

Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software supports the IEEE 1735 v1 encryption standard for IP core file decryption. (Quartus standard/lite does not)

Good morning. We wrote to Digi-Key (the partner that we bought the software from) and requested an NDA last Friday. We followed up with a call and a detailed email yesterday. I will keep you updated. Thank you very much

Just a small question please. Is it at all possible to find out if the NDA could be progressed with Intel directly rather than via Digi-Key?

Distributor should have Intel FAE to help them with the NDA.

You can ask the distributor to contact their FAE.
