Remote Desktop and Licensing on Windows 7

Hi, developing a project on Quartus II and the funniest thing is happening to me, I'm developing through Remote Desktop Connection on Windows 7 and Quartus II tells me that my license file does not have sufficient information to validate itself to allow compilation. Thing is, while I'm logged in locally (as in I'm at the computer), this doesn't happen. I am using the free version of Quartus II 7.2 and find this really irritating as the only reason I'm remoting in to my desktop is because I want to compile on a much more powerful machine. I Google'd up this problem and apparently nobody has run into it before, would appreciate any help if anybody is familiar with this issue.

Please upgrade to new version. This issue has been resolved since 9.x. Also, if you use any VPN, then it generates license error too.

i agree, i would upgrade to a newer version. this means your license does not have the TS_OK statement in the feature line, which allows compilation over Remote Desktop

i believe another work around is to use VNC instead of Remote Desktop
