Simulating Count Binary with Modelsim?

Hi I am new to all this and just got done with hello world and finally got that to work with VHDL, now I am having problems with the count binary template.

I am trying to do the count binary template and simulate it through modelsim but none of the LEDs are working and I named everything the way the document says to.

The only thing that is changing values is the processor write and read data.

I believe I have attached my qsys files.

I am sure I am missing something. I do not get the Hello From Nios2.

Can I force the switches while I run? I am running for 2 ms like the AN351 document.

Thanks

So the only problem I am stuck on is simulating the switches in modelsim, because I get values counting out on the lcd, seven segment, or led.
