Test-bench in Quartus

Hello all, 

Does Quartus support simulation using test-bench? If not, can somebody tell me some method by which I can send in complex test patterns (sitting in some file) to my design and verify that the output of the design matches some desired pattern (sitting in another file). This kind of verification is very easy using test-benches, but impossible to achieve with the vector waveform file approach. regards, rajesh

You should have a Modelsim installation next to Quartus. You can use it to run your test bench.

I have Quartus 9.0sp2 web edition. This doesn't come with free version of ModelSim-Altera. regards, rajesh
