Waveform Simulation -> Init Burried

Hi!

I am using the waveform editor in Quartus II. Everything works fine, I can add IN and OUT nodes and I can see the simulation results. But now I need to set some BURRIED nodes to specific values. I can do this in the waveform editor but this doesn't affect the simulation results. It seems that the simulation always uses the init values for BURRIED nodes.

Is there a way to set the BURRIED nodes to specific values for the simulation?

Regards,

Andre

Hi Andre,

as far as I know it is not possible to force internal node with the waveform editor.

Kind regards

I read somewhere that the Altera devices can't init to values <> 0.

If initial values <> 0 are used the quartus compiler initialize them to 0 and uses inverters on both sides of the register. And it seems that the simulation tool won't work as expected anymore with this registers.

I am initializing and the first input clock now. This works fine for me.

Thank you!
