I am using Modelsim DE with Quartus Prime Pro 24.3.0. I will switch to Questa Base soon, but my IT department are still trying to sort out the license.
I am used to Platform Designer generating an msim_setup.tcl script that includes a dev_com alias to compile Altera device libraries from $QUARTUS_INSTALL_DIR/eda/sim_lib.
For 24.3, $QUARTUS_INSTALL_DIR/eda/sim_lib does not contain any verilog files. The unencrypted libraries seem to be available in $QUARTUS_INSTALL_DIR/../questa_fse/intel/verilog/src, but not cyclone10gx_atoms_ncrypt.v
Where are the encrypted simulation libraries stored in the installation for 24.3?
Thanks,
Gavin

The "cyclone10gx_atoms_ncrypt.v" is located at (1) /quartus/eda/sim_lib/mentor or (2) quartus/eda/sim_lib/aldec.
Please check that you have the EDA simulation libraries installed for 24.3.

Richard Tan

The libraries are there in version 22.1.0.
It takes a long time to install, so I haven't had a chance to check everything between 22.1 - 24.3. Perhaps someone from Altera has?

Thank you very much Richard! I didn't notice that option. Now that I have ticked it, I have all the eda/sim_lib files.
