I have a EPM7032 QI-44. What would be the equivalent component to use for the Quartus software? I'm hoping to be able to read the data off of this chip to program others.

If you're going to read back the configuration and program other chips, I believe you'll need to use the exact same model.

For the programmer, only the device ID matters, which refers to any EPM7032.

What confuses me though is the 7032 AE and B can be examined but not the S. I'm not sure if I can use either the AE or the B.

O.K., I have to correct my above statement: The basic EPM7032 (without S, A or B letter) is a none-JTAG devices, that can be only programmed with a parallel programmer. I forgot this because I never used one of these.
