Which device did you use ? Did you use some special IP blocks ? When you have an old sof-file, there must be an older successfull Quartus run. Is the run also done with a Web edition ?

Kind regards

I am using VIP cores, the device I qould like to configure is a cyclone2.

Yes, there are old sof-file, on the first compilation I get correct results.

The previous run is also done with a quartus2 web edition.

Someone (sys admin) just set up and configured a Sophos Antivirus.

I'tried to uninstall and reinstall the quartus, but still the same problem.

Maybe I didin't search the registry.

Well, It was like the pogram hadn't write permissions, or any sectors oh the hard drive where damaged.

I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled quartus and windows, it seems to work all properly now.
