secure mode in lite edition

Hi,

i'm trying to program my fpga MAX 10 with AES encryption and verify protect mode according to "MAX 10 FPGA Con€guration Design Guidelines"

section "Generating .ekp File and Encrypt Con€guration File".

in the middle of the flow i saw that some of the options are not available to me.

it seems like there is limitation in the lite edition for working with secure modes.

i need to buy the standard / pro edition only if i want to program in secure mode?

there is third party software to allow such secure programming without buying the expensive license?

thanks.
