Hi team,

My Machine Configurations :

  • Processor: Intel® Xeon® Gold 6548Y+
  • Motherboard Manufacturer: Supermicro
  • Motherboard Type: X13SET-G

I'm aware that Intel provide a guide [ Intel_SGX_Enabling_Guide_Rev ] for enabling SGX in 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors ( in X12 series Supermicro motherboard). Additionally, the Supermicro manual [ X12DP_X12SP_Intel_SGX_Support ] also seems focused on 3rd gen processors. In the Supermicro X13 manual [ supermicro_X13_MNL ], it only mentions enabling SGX and TME for enabling SGX to function.

Questions:
 1. Could you clarify me that what are the Intel-recommended BIOS settings needs to be enabled for SGX to work properly on my 5th gen processor and X13 Supermicro motherboard?
 2. X12 manuals has suggests enabling NUMA in BIOS settings to enable SGX, Is it necessary to enable NUMA settings in BIOS for a single-socket CPU processors?

Thanks!

Hello Arun,

Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for individual OEMs, because every OEM might have implemented its BIOS a bit different.
Accordingly, please reach out to Supermicro to receive instructions for Intel SGX enablement on your machine.

Best regards,
Benny
