SGX Bluerays

Hi, 

I'm pretty new to this stuff but I'm already pretty annoyed ;) 

I bought a 4K blueray player for my windows 10 PC but can't play anything 4K related. Cyberlinks blueray advisor tells me I'm missing sgx support. i hve a 6950x ith an x99 a board. Almost 2000€ together BUT I'm not able to play ANY blueray with this? Insteat I have to my a new skylake generation? Is this correct so far? :D

In short, if the application such as Cyberlink one requires SGX, you will need SGX-enabled machine.

Having the CPU supporting SGX is not sufficient. It needs the BIOS supports and enables it too.

In another words, even getting a new machine with Skylake, SGX may still not be enabled.

Check with your OEM Provider on how to enable SGX in your system. Only OEM can provide a way to enable it if they allow you to do so.
