This question is really around DMA. There was no selection for this Intel Technology.
Have a situation where USB ports on TBT dock would disconnect when computer goes into sleep mode. The only way to resolve this issue, Per Intel, is to Disable DMA within the Security features of BIOS. However, Disabling DMA poses a Security risk as it can leave a device vulnerable.
Question to Intel is the following. Is it okay to Disable DMA permanently in order to allow TBT dock USB ports to function properly?
