Here's what I think the issue is:
Intel unison not being showing in
- task manager - startup
- msconfig - services
- task scheduler
Here's what I've done so far to attempt to fix the issue:
- uninstalled and reinstalled intel unison
- enabled unison to run in background in the app
- enabled unison to start when windows starts in the app
- basic windows troubleshooting sfc, dism, etc
I don't know what the issue is. Is this a bug that everyone's experiencing or is it just me?

I had the same issue with my Intel Unison Application.
I ended up doing the following steps to work around the issue:
First, create a shortcut to the Intel Unison Application:
- Press Win + R to open the Run Tool
- Type shell:AppsFolder inside Run's Open box
- Press Enter to open the Apps folder
- Scroll the Intel Unison App icon, right click on the icon and select "Create shortcut"
- Highlight the shortcut you just created by clicking on it, then press Ctrl + X to cut the shortcut to your clipboard
Next, move that shortcut to the Windows Start-up folder:
- Press Win + R to open the Run Tool
- Type shell:startup in the open box
- Press enter to open the Startup Folder
- Paste (Ctrl + V) the Shortcut created above into folder
this worked for me and ensured that the application started when the computer started or logged in.
For the moderators:
- this is a new computer (brand new 11/2023) in which the software was pre-installed.
- the behavior has been consistent since the computer was received -- i.e., as far as I know this has been an ongoing problem.
