HTTPS is enabled and configured for port 443, but port 443 remains closed.

Hello,

I stumbled upon this thread because I currently have the same problem. HTTPS is enabled in Configuration > Security Settings and configured for port 443, but port 443 remains closed. I know, this did work some time ago, but I can't remember when I last used it. I also tried

sudo ipmitool mc reset cold

but to no avail.

Any tips for further debugging?

Best,

Hauke

Hello HaukeM,

You may need to first upload a SSL certificate to BMC. The steps to do that can be found at http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/intel_rmm4_ibwc_userguide_r2_72.pdf page 90 section 7.3.7

Best regards,

Sergio S.
