Hello, everybody! At my company i have this Storage System. But today i found that users cant access to shared folders. I tried to ping the device ... "time out". So i can't access to device through web interface or something else. And i can't restore info of disks because they have unknown format.

First, we need to check if the IP of the unit changed for no reason. We can install the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=16298&lang=eng&ProdId=2910 Storage System Manager for Windows* to discover the unit within the same subnet.

You may also attempt to reset the unit following the instructions listed in the following http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/ss4200-e/sb/CS-028954.htm document.

Were you able to gain access back to the unit? Feel free to post a new message if the issue persists.

You may also contact http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport Intel® Customer Support for further assistance.

When and where exactly do you get this error? Are you able to log in to the unit through the web interface by typing the IP address on your web browser?

The application is not providing enough information of why it is giving the error. And it appears that the unit is working fine as you are able to log in to it through the web interface.

I would probably try to remove and reinstall the most recent version of the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=16298 Storage System Manager for Windows* or event try to use the application from another client system.
