Intel S1200BTL RAID

Hello guys,

I have an Intel S1200BTL server board, ESXI 5 installed on usb stick, CPU E3-1240. My problem is: I would like to have a RAID 1 with the onboard raid controllers. There are two methods to activate that in the bios. 1. is The ESRT2 (*LSI) based on the LSI Megaraiddriver 2. is the RST I used the LSI based ROM. Can anybody help ?

This not the correct driver. It's for add-in RAID cards or modules, not for onboard ESRT2. I don't think Vmware supports ESRT2 or RST. Hello Edward and thank you for your answer.

So if the driver posted on Intel's site does not apply to the product that I am using(S1200BTL) why is it posted there? It made me belive that this board has drivers for esrt2(lsi based) in vmware. Maybe Intel should post those drivers with the add-in RAID cards or modules, because when I bought S1200BTL, the board came with none of that cards.

It's posted there because it applies for the integrated RAID modules like RMS2AF040/080. The driver is linked to all boards that support those modules. Sorry for the confusion it caused.
