Is my Core i7 compatible with viiv?

I want to stream my networked PC video files on my DirecTv Plus HD DVR. Their sight says I need to install Intel® Viiv™ Media Share software. I have Vista Home Premium. When I try to install, the program says I have to install on an Intel Core 2 Viiv technology computer. My processor is an Intel Core i7. If this is not compatible with the software, is there any way I can still use the software?

I am having the same problem...I love the Directv DVR and software but do not think Directv or Viiv have upgraged to allow medIa share. Also the Viiv appears to be only compatable with Vista 32 bit and not 64 bit. I have a 1T HD full of movies on my Directv I cannot share. I just keep searching for solutions. Please post if you find one.
