Does anybody help me?

-----------------------------------------------------------

Software Environment: Ubuntu 10.04, itpp-4.2.tar.gz, l_mkl_10.3.2.137.tgz, GCC/G++ version 4.4.3

-----------------------------------------------------------

I have installed gcc/g++ 4,4,3 and MKL(10.3.2) in Ubuntu 10.04.

MKL directory:

/opt/intel/mkl/

/opt/intel/mkl/lib/ia32/

/opt/intel/mkl/include/

/opt/intel/composerxe-2011.2.137/mkl/

/opt/intel/composerxe-2011.2.137/mkl/lib/ia32/

/opt/intel/composerxe-2011.2.137/mkl/include/

Then I install IT++ 4.2, install command as follow:

-----------

# tar zxvf itpp-4.2.tar.gz

# cd itpp-4.2

# export LDFLAGS="-L/opt/intel/mkl/lib/ia32"

# export CPPFLAGS="-I/opt/intel/mkl/include"

# ./configure

--------------

Then happen configure error:

"configure: error: cannot find any BLAS library, which is required by LAPACK."

----------

And, I try to use the other MKL Directory,

----------

# export LDFLAGS="-L/opt/intel/composerxe-2011.2.137/mkl/lib/ia32"

# export CPPFLAGS="-I/opt/intel/composerxe-2011.2.137/mkl/include"

----------

There is alse the same configure error.

Does anybody tell me the correct install method for IT++ with MKL in Ubuntu?

Or point to the correct version for IT++, MKL, G++, Linux and so on.

If the application expects you to supply a complete working set of BLAS library link flags, you can retrieve one for MKL by using the link advisor posted at the top of this forum.

configure: error: cannot find any BLAS library, which is required by LAPACK.

You can override this error by using "--without-blas" option, but the

functionality of the IT++ library will be limited. You have been warned!

Could you tell me an example for link advisor command,

eg. root@docomo10:/home/docomo/soft/itpp-4.2# ./configure --with-blas=

I successfully built IT++ with MKL 10.3on an RHEL. Actually, it automatically picked up the MKL libs as expected and mentioned in the IT++ documentation. It seems, your CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS are not being set to point to the MKL libs. May be, you can check printing the values of those env variables by using echo and confirm it.
