LENOVO ThinkCentre M900 (i5-6500T) ME 버전은 v11.8.77 입니다.

Hello SJH,

Good day to you.

Upon review, the behavior observed appears to be related to KVM session behavior, as outlined in the URL below:

https://software.intel.com/sites/manageability/AMT_Implementation_and_Reference_Guide/default.htm?turl=WordDocuments%2Flinkspeedswhenopeningakvmsessionfromsleepstate.htm

To reiterate, the document states:

“It is recommended to start the KVM session in S0, excluding use cases that require starting the session in Sx. In Sx, the network speed is set at 10 Mbps. Opening a session in Sx and then powering up the machine will keep the original Sx network speed of 10 Mbps until the session ends and there is a reboot or driver initialization. Moving to S0 before opening a redirection session avoids this network speed limitation.”

Recommended Actions:

  • Use software KVM (e.g., MeshCentral) after the Operating System (OS) is fully up and running.
  • Use hardware KVM for BIOS or pre-boot access only.
  • Consider Intel EMA (Endpoint Management Assistant) for enterprise-grade AMT management.

Please let us know if you have further questions or require additional clarification.

Regards,

Hi SJH,

We see that the speed of the NIC varies and gets low up to 10mbps once you are connecting it to the KVM through the Mesh commander.

However it works fine with 1GBPS, when connected normally.

Before we proceed, please share us the SSU logs of the unit, for further analysis.

Please find the steps given below to collect the SSU logs in the article given below:

Hi SJH,

Thank you for sharing us the SSU, as per the log we see that the Ethernet card is an Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-LM.

As per the product, we would like to inform you that there is a dedicated forum for those specific issues with ethernet hence we are moving the thread there to ensure that you would receive a quicker and more accurate response.

Thanks & Regards
