Hi,
I'm new to iAMT. ;-)
We've set up a machine and we can access it via iAMT with VNC-clients from LAN. When we try to access iAMT from another subnet or VPN (Wireguard) the connection gets closed immediately.
Is there any option to allow access from remote/other subnets?
Thanx for any hint,
Renne

Hello Renne,
Thank you for contacting Intel AMT Community Support.
Could you please provide us more information about how do you have set up the AMT infrastructure; for instance:
- Do you have the RCS Server already configure?
- Do you have a local CA or a different one?
Please check section 5.8 (Defining Remote Access) of the following guide:
It will provide you a better understanding of this configuration you are planning to achieve :
Please let me know the outcome in order to proceed with the next step.
Best regards,
Emeth O.

Hello,
I would like to make sure some details about the information provided in order to have a better understanding of this scenario.
From what I read, you need to make sure port 16992 (16993 for TLS) is open both ways but I would like to understand more information about “connection gets closed immediately”. Does this mean that there is an initial connection where the two are talking and then it gets closed?
Need clarification as “from another subnet” is much different than VPN and needs clarification on Wireguard.
Can we try to meet you to do a troubleshooting session to see exactly what you have been facing?

Hello,
I would like to double-check how you are trying to reach the client?
Through a web browser? If so, then you must have ports 16992 and 16993 open.
Please let me know the details.
