I have a DEll Dimension 3100 running Windows XP

I installed this driver update.

the driver updated fine to revsion 5.10.5511.0 but the promised software application to configure audio settings is nowhere to be seen, It appeared once when installing but I can't find it after restart, how do I launch it?

also there is no sound control icon of any kind on the taskbar. the old speaker style one is gone!
