We had Manageability Service running on 2 servers as recommended by Intel consultancy. They told us by only specifying main Manageability Service Server in EMA Server config, this would be OK. It wasn't, they made a mistake!!!!
We removed Manageability Service via Platform Manager --> Manageabilty Service --> Halt --> Remove.
The server got rebooted and the Manageability Service re-appeared. Is this a bug, or expected behaviour?
We have a change in to remove it again (its currently halted), but this is scary stuff as we could brick our AMT chips. The designers need to tread more carefully around the Manageability Service.
Would a reinstall, unchecking the Manageability Service fix this issue?

Hello Jools86,
I will take a look at what could be the possible cause of this and will return shortly with a response.

Hi Eduardo,
This tkt can be closed. I did not remove Manageability Server from Storage!!!
I tested after a reboot and it is now gone.
My apologies for wasting your time in this instance.
Julian
