I have a locally assembled PC with an INTEL motherboard DQ965GFEKR, Built in SigmaTel Stac9227 Audio Driver component. I have upgraded to Win7 64 bit, and I cannot get the Audio to function. The Intel Analysis program lists "Intel device detected but OS not supported. Does this mean that I cannot use this Audio Device with Win 7 64 bit?
Do I need to add a Sound Card compatable with WIN 7 64 bit?
This Board came with Intel Audio Studio, but I cannot find the CD, if I ever had it.
I need help figuring out how to get the recording into the computer.
Thanks.

Hello,
This board has reached End of Interactive Support, there wont be any new drivers for windows seven or any other OS.
Actually, it has not been validated to work with Win7.
Have you tried this driver anyway?

Remove any previous driver installation.
Have you checked if there is any driver from the SigmaTel since it has got the sigmatel STAC9227 audio codec?
All the best,
Kind Regards,
Aryan

Thank you for the Information. I suspected that the current conditions surrounding the board status are as you stated.
While the board is not certified for Win 7 it does function with Win 7 64 bit quite well. Sometime blind LUCK works better than knowledge.
Thanks again for the responce.

I've got the same MB and everything works fine. I noticed after going to WIN7 64 I had to fix the Audio output device everytime something updated for Audio.
