Intel 82598 10Gb NIC not linking

Forum members,

Please forgive if I've not posted to the right location. Not sure where to post though. I have to do a throughput test on the above mentioned card however I can't seem to get a link with either Linux or Windows when plugging into a Juniper 8208 10 Gb Switch port. I'm using a FTLX8571D3BCL SFO from Finisar. Is there a specific port setting that I need to do at the switch?
