I just converted my desktop from windows xp to windows 7 and everything seems to be working fine except when I check the device manager and find PCI Serial Port is not installed correctly. Any suggestions?

Hi Amgeorgia,

First of all, FYI this community is solely dedicated to Intel vPro technology and it's related issues. Your query is typically intended for our Motherboard community and I would encourage you to post your queries regarding Motherboard next time there to receive a prompt response.

Now, reverting to your question, first of all I am posting Windows 7 drivers list for DQ35JO.

However in case you're still not able to resolve the issue, I would advise you to check for any third-party PCI device that you might be using with your motherboard such as External GPU, Sound Card, TV-Card, etc. If so, you would need to access their website and download the latest driver for Windows 7.

For any further assistance, please feel free to consult us and we'll be glad to help.

Thank you for supporting Intel, have a great day!
