Hello, MoraDK,

There are different errors in the logs.

Please provide me with more details of the Intel® EMA installation. You are using the latest version 1.12.1.0.

  1. Do you have access to the EMA web console using the Global or Tenant account?
  2. Is this a new installation or have you recently performed any changes to the EMA Server or database?
  3. Is the EMA server and database on the same physical or virtual machine?
  4. Please let me know if all the EMA components (Ajax, Recovery, Swarm, etc) are in the same location.

I am following up on the post.  If further assistance is necessary, please share the information previously requested.

Adding a copy of them.

Do you have access to the EMA web console using the Global or Tenant account?

Is this a new installation or have you recently performed any changes to the EMA Server or database?

Is the EMA server and database on the same physical or virtual machine?

Please let me know if all the EMA components (Ajax, Recovery, Swarm, etc) are in the same location.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes I have access to the web console.

It's a new installation.

No, EMA and Database is on two different databases.

Hello, MoraDK,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

The Intel® EMA configuration was recently created, and you have access to the EMA web console.

The database is in a separate physical or virtual machine.

The errors are related to communication between the EMA Server and the SQL Database.

If you're able to access the EMA web console, can you see the endpoints connected and CIRA connected? According to the errors, they should give an error (Not Connected).

Please review if the User who installed EMA in the server (Admin) has the database roles in SQL. Section 1.3.3 Database gives the prerequisites including the necessary roles. https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/software/manageability-products/intel-ema-server-installation-and-maintenance-guide.pdf#page=9

I was hoping you could send me the EMA Server logs; they will give us more configuration details.

Default Path: [System drive]\Program File(x86)\Intel\Platform Manager\EmaLogs

Please send me the files without the date called:

EMAlog-Webserver.txt

EMAlog-Swarmserver.txt

EMAlog-Ajaxserver.txt

EMAlog-Recoveryserver.txt

EMAlog-Manageabilityserver.txt

Hello, MoraDK,

I hope you are doing well.

By any chance, have you been able to work on your EMA configuration and validate the CIRA status?

Hi

Sorry for taking so long to answer...

In the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Platform Manager\EMALogs" folder I only see these...

No other files.

Hello, MoraDK,

No problem at all.

Intel® EMA allows the installation of the Swarm, Ajax, Manageability, and Recovery Server in different locations (physical or virtual Server machines).  This is the issue; EMA software is not finding its components.  Please review where they were installed then double-check the communication.  From previous posts, the database is on a separate Server too.

The Installer log provides details on how Intel® EMA was installed.

<Installer Directory>/EMALog-Intel EMAInstaller.txt

This is a new installation; have you provisioned any endpoint so far?  For testing purposes, I suggest installing EMA software (all the components together) on the same machine.

I am excited to hear back from you with the results.
