Hi,
Last Week we renewed our provisioning cert from DigiCert for another year.
Our Partner for certificate issues informed me that DigiCert as well as other Certificate Authorities stop issuing vPro Provisioning Certificates and that they probably cannot renew our Certificate again next Year.
So the question is how would the Provisioning of vPro wiht an EMA Server work in the future without the possibility to get the needed Certificate?
Thanks for Reply,
Greetings
Sascha

Hello Zieri,
Greetings!
The certificate used for host-based setup and configuration is the same kind of certificate as is required for remote configuration. It is a server certificate, used only for setup and configuration, with the appropriate OID or OU that traces to a CA that has a root certificate hash stored in the Intel AMT device.
A certificate chain contains a series of public key certificates in pem format, or it could be a series of one or more pem files. Each certificate is delimited by a
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- string at the beginning and a
-----END CERTIFICATE----- at the end.
Provisioning of vPro with an EMA Server, I will provide you an update shortly.
Regards,
Vijay N.

Hello Zieri,
Greetings!
I apologize for any misunderstanding. We confirm that GoDaddy, Entrust, and Certigo are providing the vPro certificates to customers for provisioning.
Best regards,
Vijay N.
