Hi
We are doing some development on D415 module now, and was wondering if we redesign the shape of the D4 board to fit our product form factor. Did any third party design this board? And can we can the schematic and BOM somewhere? Thanks!

Intel are willing to work with companies to accommodate special requirements if large-volume orders are placed, according to a recent webinar session they held.
Page 66 onward of the data sheet document for the 400 Series camera contains system integration information for the D4.

Page 66 states that you can either integrate the Vision Processor D4 Board, or put the D4 and its support components directly on the host processor motherboard.
There is also a mobile version of the D4 called the D4m that may suit your product.
"The Intel® RealSense Vision Processor D4m is a purpose-built ASIC for computing real-time stereo depth data. The D4m has been I/O and size optimized (4.7 x 3.8mm) for integration into mobile phones. The D4m dedicated vision processor delivers zero latency, real-time depth targeted up to 20.7MP/sec, with support for up to 720×720 resolution at 30fps. The D4m Vision Processor delivers significantly faster real-time depth compute at a fraction of the power, thus offloading much needed compute from the phone SOC, and enabling better system performance and longer battery life. This processor and associated reference design is flexible and able to run on any SOC phone platform".

Marty
Thanks very much for your information!
Looks like intel designed the boards instead of by any third party, so we will have to talk to Intel directly?

Yes, I believe the D4 is an Intel-produced component. If you have an NDA relationship with Intel then I would recommend submitting an inquiry via the Zendesk support system available to NDA customers.
