Does a Hyper-V VM work with Realsense and the USB 3.1 controller?

The documentation says not to use Oracle Virtualbox; it mentions VMWare.

 

I have a Hyper-V bare metal implementation on a laptop. Will the RealSense camera work in this environment?

I'm using the D435, although USB issues would be present with nearly any depth camera.

I don't have specific information about using RealSense 400 Series cameras with Hyper-V. The key factor seems to be whether you can get the virtual machine to access USB devices, like VMWare can.
