How can I find out if my Toshiba P845T-101 laptop has a WiFi adapter whitelist?

Hi all,

So I have the pretty-old laptop mentioned in the title and I'm quite happy with it, especially with an SSD and RAM upgrade I made to it. I'd like to clean the fan and upgrade its Intel 2230 WiFi card to the 7260, but I'm worried of going through the time and expense of installing the card if it turns out that the laptop has a whitelist. Does anyone here know, or is there any way I can find out?

The closest I got by searching is an Amazon reviewer mentioning that the 7260 works on their similar Toshiba laptop, the P845T-S4310, which has a part number of PSPJ5U, whereas my laptop looks pretty much the same and has the part number PSPJ5E. The BIOS is Toshiba 6.50.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.
