i've just got an SR300, i've read through all of the discussions and such on here followed advice but seem to be having problems still.
I can't get it to track my hands and hand movement.
I'm using a logitech C920 and the SR300 together.
on a previous install i had managed to get ti to add the real sense camera and on the left it said hand tracking ok. but there wasn't a track box around my hand etc and the avatar didnt move their hands or arms.
everything in the settings was turned on so realsense track hands, cheeks and toungue.
(incidentily it was tracking the tongue and cheek movement fine)
my Depth camera manage is on 3.3 and so on.
I uninstalled everything to wipe the slate clean but now I can add the Reasense camera.
It's going back to saying couldnt find SDK runtime etc
I tried follow another ppost which said to go into the steam directory and install manually.
which is did but the installer crash and said intergrity check failed "source file is incorrect intel_rs_sdk_runtime ... "
But this gets to a point and says that this source file
intel_rs_sdk_runtime_intel_lanternrock_10_0_26_396.msi
Is incorrect
any help would be appreciated

The SR300 DCM should be installed first and then the RealSense SDK second. Did you do the installation in this order, please?
Also, did you install the 10_0_26 SDK - also known as '2016 R2' - using the 2.8 GB install file?

Hi Marty,
Yeah installed camera first then the sdk.
I've installed R2 but it said it was only 1.7gb when installing.

Yeah you're right, it is 1.8 GB. Sorry, my memory broke for a moment.
Also, Facerig has a free version specially for RealSense on Steam called IRFacerig that is more suited to RealSense - is this the one you are using, or are you using the normal Facerig that is for ordinary webcams?

Not a problem, appreciate the help I have IRfacerig installed but when I open that now I just get a sdk runtime not present etc etc.
Also I'm correct in thinking that IRfacerig doesn't support the hand gestures etc.
I'm away for a couple of days. So will have to follow this up on friday properly.
I'll post up my specs and stuff to make sure I'm not missing something stupid.

I found there is an update for the regular Facerig that adds RealSense support, including hands.

Hey Marty
SO i've uninstalled everything again,
plugged the camera into usb 3 port.
installed the DCM
installed the SDK
and rebooted.
looking at device manager it only has the virtual driver installed. I seem to remember there 3 things the last time I installed
I've got the facerig update installed (atl east steam tells me i have) and whenever I click that button in steam it just opens facerig and does nothing.
i've tried using an offline installer for the SDK this time to see if it makes a difference. but appears to just be the same.
and when i run the SDK sample browser all the hands tracking apps and consoles crash

Yes, you should have three RealSense drivers installed.
A way to get the latest RGB, Depth and Virtual drivers for the camera is to go into the Device Manager, right-click on each of these drivers and select Uninstall til there are no drivers listed for your camera. Pull the camera out of the USB 3.0 port, wait a couple of seconds and re-insert the camera into the USB port. Windows 10 should then automatically re-download the latest SR300 drivers from the internet instead of having to do it through the DCM installer.

Your i7-4930K processor is a 4th generation 'Ivy Bridge-E' one. Although the R200 camera model can use 4th generation, the SR300's official minimum spec is for a 6th generation 'Skylake' processor. This may be why the SR300 is having problems on that particular PC.

You're very welcome. I was glad to be able to help, even if the outcome was not the one hoped for.
If you've only just bought the SR300 within the last 90 days and got it from the Intel Click online store, you may be able to file a claim for a refund (not replacement, since it would do you no good on your PC) by emailing mailto:click.support@intel.com click.support@intel.com

I'd like to keep the camera, to be honest as I wanted to try it with C4D for 3D scanning and so on.
I think it'll mean having to upgrade my whole motherboard to be able to get one of the proper processors that works.
plus it still works as a webcam on my pc haha
anyways thanks again
