I have an old DELL Dimension desktop computer running windows 7
I wanted to up date to windows 10 as nothing works much now on 7
but keep getting told This p.c Processor doesn't support critical feature
LAHF / SAHF
Nor Prefetch W so how do I get these items
my processor says 64Bit but can I make it 32 Bit
can someone please advise me as I am disabled and need a computer

What is the model number of your processor? In W7, right-click on Computer and select properties.

64Bit operating system but before my son put windows 7 on I was running XP 32 bit
The Prefetch W I tried with Properties but it doesn't say W Just Prefetch

Your processor is simply too old. Without more information on the processor, the closest I can find is from 2004. LAHF/SAHF (and XD/NX instructions) did not make their appearance until 2005/2006 (if I recall correctly). You may want to check your bios to see if you can enable these (which may be enabled by turning on VT). However, the point is your processor is old, too old to be useful.
So, you need to upgrade to a new(er) machine to run W10.
