Is there any 3D CAD Model of SR300 developer kit new version?

Although I found a CAD model of the original SR300, sadly I could not find a model of the second slim version either. Intel do not provide official CAD models for the RealSense camera range, so getting one relies on a user creating one.

Anyway, I enquired Intel about this issue which may limit the use of the camera in some particular context like robotics.

I'll keep you updated if I will be reached out by Intel with any support.

This official CAD model provided by Intel is apparently of the internal circuit board of the SR300 without the casing. Clicking on the link automatically starts the download of the file in your browser.

In the end I was also redirect here by Intel support and the Embedded community.

It is unfortunate that intel do not provide the CAD model of the enclosure.

This is clearly a missing information that hinders SR exploitation in several applications.

The only way to work with it properly is tear it down and use the available CAD model.

I hope that someone from Intel will reach out here (again?) to give us updates about this matter.
