The depth of the striped pattern

I do not seem to be able to take depth accurately with horizontal stripes, but is there any countermeasure?

Or is it a specification?

There was a discussion several months ago in a case where a person had problems getting a depth scan from a jersey with grey horizontal stripes on it. This may be helpful to understanding the problem you are having, which is related to light absorption physics.

Similar symptoms were confirmed in Kinect v1.

I will try to improve it in Advanced Mode.
