JPEG encoding of RGB8 data - Media SDK

Hi All,

We are using The Intel® Media SDK 2017 R1 and API version 1.23. We need to encode RGB8 data ( 24 bits per pixel ) to JPEG. Currently we are not observed such an encoding option intel media SDK. But in mfxstructures.h we are seeing constants like RGB3 and RGB4. But using these constants in sample_encode is failing. Can anybody let me know whether RGB8 encoding to JPEG is possible using intel media SDK. If yes which FOURCC code should we give as input format?

Hi Athira, 

You may use MFX_FOURCC_RGB3, but it works only in software implementation.
