Hi,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

We can see there is no binary/executable with name trace.exe in VPL, We will look into this internally and get back to you with an update.

Thanks,

Jaideep

I have verified with the developers that we do not support the tracer.exe functionality in Intel VPL.

It would be great if a similar tool for VPL appeared so that you could track how the library changes input parameters and catch unsupported parameters, because there is still no sane documentation about which codecs support certain parameters and on which systems the parameters work. I have repeatedly come across the fact that after updating the video driver, the encoding stopped working and as it turned out, the reason was in 1 parameter, which took quite a long time to identify. There is a similar problem with broken parameters when creating an application that supports both Windows and Linux. Some settings do not work on Linux, while on Windows everything works without problems and vice versa.
