I'm a competitive gamer so I notice when certain tweaks positively or negatively affect my system. However sometimes it is hard to tell. One of the things I'm unsure about is when it comes to the chipset drivers if it does harm or good to my system. I do notice it affects my input lag and game's performance when having them installed vs not installed. I was wondering if you guys recommend I install or not install these chipset drivers to optimize performance on my 14700k as Intel doesn't specify what needs to be done for optimal performance especially for competitive gaming. These are the drivers I have available:
I typically only install the inf, me, hid event filter, and serial io. But im not sure if i should only install a couple/few of them or none at all. Im trying to maximize for latency and performance. I am unsure what any of these drivers do and it doesn't help that they are all under "chipset".

Hello Brytside
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
I understand you’re wondering whether or not to install the chipset drivers, and that’s a great question. From a technical standpoint, we strongly recommend installing them. Chipset drivers play a key role in helping your system run smoothly—they improve performance, power efficiency, and overall stability.
Since you mentioned you're a competitive gamer, installing these drivers could potentially enhance your system’s responsiveness and reliability during gameplay. After installation, you can monitor your system’s performance to see if there’s any noticeable improvement.
Best regards

Hi thanks for the reply. Ok, I understand I should be installing the chipset drivers however if you see in the screenshot and link I provided there are multiple drivers in the chipset section. There's the Intel chipset Inf software, Intel management engine, Intel serial io driver, and Intel hid event filter and they are all under the "chipset" section. So I was wondering which ones I need to install. If i need to only install 1 or 2 or all of them. Also do any of them work in tandem with each other? For example if I install the chipset inf, do i need to install Intel me as well etc.
