Hi Harish,
Please note that in the Intel® Distribution for Python forum the members will probably not know the answer, so I moved this topic to this forum.
Best regards,
Stef

Hello Harish3,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Please confirm if this is the actual system device that you have: https://www.aaeon.com/en/p/up-7000-boards. If yes, have you already tried contacting your system manufacturer support?
I will wait for your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello @JeanetteC_Intel ,
Yes that is the device I have. I have also asked support in the Aaeon support website, I haven't received any reply from their side. Is there any software or driver need to be installed to access GPIO?
Regards,
Harish

Hello Harish3,
Good day!
I understand that you were looking for Python code to access the GPIO of your embedded motherboard. However, the programming for Intel's Atom UP 7000 board is outside the scope of our support.
Looking at 3rd party sources, it appears that the GPIO pins can be accessed using Python, but you would need to install the necessary libraries such as “python-periphery” or “RPi.GPIO” to interact with the GPIO pins.
With this in mind, it would be best for you to continue working with your place of purchase to look for the sample Python scripts that can help you develop the board further.
I will proceed in closing this thread. Should you need assistance in the future, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Sincerely,
JeanetteC.
