Hi Intel Community!
This is my first post in these forums. I hope you guys are able to help me.
I'm building a NAS and am aiming at using the Atom S1260 processor for it and I have got a relatively simple question that I haven't been able to find an answer for.
Can the Atom S1260 processor be used with Sata port multipliers?
For example:

or
http://www.addonics.com/products/ad5sapm.php http://www.addonics.com/products/ad5sapm.php
Note that both don't slot into PCI lanes.
Thanks,
Paul

The support for this type of devices will be limited by the motherboard / server board chipset not the processor. We would suggest you to check with the manufacturer to confirm if the SATA controller on the unit has PM support.
