CPU Fan Noise

My retail cpu fan for my i5 2500k cpu has been quiete until I recently added more memory and used a dust off to blow some dust out of the case. Now I have a slow chatter noise with my fan running.

This system has only been running two or three months. Can't believe that the fan is in trouble already.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure it is the CPU cooler's fan that is making the noise? How many other fans are in your PC's case?

As they say, stuff happens. You may have gotten a defective fan on your cooler. Contact Intel support and see if they will send you a new one. You could also buy a new CPU cooler for $10 if you shop around.
