CPU i7 13700KF is it fixed?

I tried launching path of titans yesterday and they told me there is a major critical issue with Intel 13 and 14th gen CPU eventually leading to total failure since a couple years... This is very concerning and I tried finding informations if it was fixed or not, I read an article that Intel tried to roll out BIOS updates, has it been fixed remotely by Intel or do I need to do something myself ? If so, could anyone by generous enough to provide me with instructions? I bought my pc fully assembled a couple years ago, I had zero issues with it so far but I dont want it to fail...

We were talking about the BIOS, right?  That is the one you want.

I am concerned that you may not be able to do this, which is why I recomment that you contact MSI for assistance.  Else, you can really screw things up.

Get the bios update from your motherboard/system manufacturer.

Restating AL's post, regularly check for and always install any BIOS/firmware updates that the motherboard/system manufacturer makes available.

I will look into the motherboard updates but  system manufacturer (Canada computer) didnt help at all when contacted. Updating the bios doesnt risk damaging other component?

@Skodz   We are wasting time here.

Download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

If that is your board, then it is pretty self-explanatory.

The latest bios is:  AMI BIOS   7E06vAI20    25-08-18

from just 11 days ago.

If you need help with the bios, contact MSI.

ok,  msi made your board.  Open your system and look for a model number on the board.

Then go to MSI's website and find the bios for that board.

They have a video saying files must be on a usb key for the update, does it matter if there are other files on the key as well when I do it ?
