Does motherboard with LGA1200 socket pin can support a processor that support LGA1155

Hey,

I have a Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Processor that support LGA1155 (link)

and I want to upgrade my motherboard to a new one that comes with LGA 1200 socket pin.

I wanted to ask if the new motherboard socket pin support my processor?
If not, what socket pins does support my processor socket pin?

You will have to ask the motherboard manufacturer if their board's bios supports your processor.

A processor has to be socket, chipset, AND BIOS compatible.
