E5-2620 V4 EPT not supported(?)

Hello everyone

I have a hp ml350 server with an E5-2620 V4 2.1Ghz processor

The product description and the Intel website say that there is support for EPT (SLAT)

I have problems running RemoteFX in Hyper-V .. so I checked the server with Coreinfo -v Command (Sysinternals tool)

And the result was surprising:

HYPERVISOR *

VMX -

EPT -

(Minus means - not supported)

How do I enable this feature?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, let me help you on this matter.

I understand that virtualization EPT does not seem to be enabled.

Intel® Virtualization technologies are enabled once you adjust BIOS settings to handle virtualization. You need to access the computer BIOS and check if you have an option for Intel® VT-x with Extended Page Tables (EPT) or Intel® Virtualization Technology.

I recommend checking with https://community.hpe.com/t5/Servers-and-Operating-Systems/ct-p/itrc-122 HP support for instructions on how to enable this technology at BIOS level.
