Fedora core 14 and speedstep control

The system is a 5000 based server with 5000 based cpu. Only 2 steps are supported maximum and the first step down. What is the control for speedstep in LInux? Why are only 2 steps supported. Can this be extended? Thanks - Dan

I would recommend contacting Linux developers / forums, so they can answer that question, since Intel does not develop that operating system.
