I would recommend contacting motherboard maker or computer manufacturer for possible BIOS update, and Apacer for compatibility information: http://us.apacer.com/contact/ Contact - Apacer- Reliable Innovator of DRAM, Industrial SSD, Digital Storage, and Consumer Products

Dear Allan
we have contacted Apacer they suggested that the Haswell platform does not support sata 2.0 phy in the SSD they are asking to use SSD compatible with SATA 3.0 is this can be eliminated by updating the bios will the ports configure properly and eliminate the detection issue ,how can this be solved without replacing the drive

In this case, you will need to contact your computer manufacturer since a BIOS update might help.

Please bear in mind you have a motherboard with Intel components but the actual maker of the board is Apacer.
For further assistance with BITS please check on http://biosbits.org/ BIOS Implementation Test Suite
