I7 Q720 problem

my i7 q720 is only running at 0.90 ghz. while it should be running at 1.60 ghz without the turbo boost, and also when i try to install the the turbo boos monitor gadget or any driver for the i7 it says that i don't meet the requirements.. can someone help me with this?

i have the same problem. i have a i7 720qm at 1.6ghz and turbo boost is not working. running windows 7 home premium 64-bit.

Try checking in the BIOS to see if turbo boost is enabled ??
